Every room at Royal Hill Satun Hotel has air conditioning. Some rooms measure 30 m² and others 33 m², and the views include the sea, the mountains and the surrounding nature. Beds range from singles and doubles to king beds, and some rooms sleep up to four guests while others sleep up to three. Rooms with a private bathroom have a shower, toiletries and towels.

Royal Hill Satun Hotel is in the Pakbara area of Satun province, on Thailand's Andaman coast in the far south of the country. It is a stretch of coast where villages and beaches sit close together, and the setting works well for anyone planning boat trips to the islands. Between trips, the hotel's own garden, pools and spa keep the stay relaxed. The sea is never far away, and boats from the nearby pier link the area with the islands of the national park.

Pak Bara, the ferry terminal 4 km from the hotel, is the departure point for boats to Tarutao National Marine Park, the archipelago off Satun province that includes Koh Lipe. Bang Sila Beach, 3.4 km away, has a viewpoint over the coast, and Cu Pa Noi Beach is 5.6 km away, with Bulo Beach a little further at 5.7 km.

A day could start at the viewpoint at Bang Sila Beach, continue to the Pak Bara pier to watch the boats head out towards the islands, and end on the sand at Cu Pa Noi Beach. Kampang Park and Wijit Janya Garden are also in the area, and both offer green space for a slower afternoon away from the boats and the sand.
