The sandy Maenam Beach lies 8 km away, while the Big Buddha, a large seated Buddha on the hill above Bophut, is 14.3 km away. Na Muang Waterfall, an inland waterfall in the island's hills, is 10.7 km from the hotel. Samui Airport is also on the island, so the last stretch from it is by road.

A good day could begin with a swim at Chaweng Noi Beach, a quieter stretch beside the busier Chaweng, before a visit to Wat Plai Laem, the temple with its large Guan Yin statue. In the afternoon, the Big Buddha and the shops of Fisherman's Village in Bophut make a further stop, and the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rocks near Lamai make a further day trip.
