Every room at Rommai Forest Bungalows has a garden view and air conditioning, so the garden is part of the stay whichever room you choose. Sizes run from 14 m² to 36 m², and every room sleeps up to two guests, with queen or king beds. Bungalows and double rooms share the same garden setting.

The island has beaches on several bays and makes a calm base for swimming, caves and national park trails. Beaches, caves and the national park are spread across the island, so the bungalows make a practical base for seeing several of them. The closest airports, Trang and Krabi, are both on the mainland.

The old town is 3.6 km away and makes an easy wander for an afternoon. Klong Nin beach is 3.2 km away, and the Khao Mai Kaew Cave, a limestone cave, lies 2.4 km off. The Butterfly Farm, a garden attraction, is 3.3 km away, and Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 9.9 km away, protecting islands, reefs and waters offshore.

A good day could combine the cave with a swim at Klong Nin beach and a boat trip to the national park, then a walk through the old town before the evening. During the monsoon season, rough seas can stop boat trips to the outer islands, so plan those for a calmer day.
