Rocky resort

Every room and bungalow at Rocky resort has a sea view, and their sizes run from 16 m² to 38 m². Choices include a double room with balcony, a triple room with a queen and a king bed, a quadruple room with two queen beds, and two bungalows with a king bed.

Showers, toiletries and towels come with every room, and each room has a socket near the bed. Beds are king or queen size, and the triple room has one of each. Several rooms have a balcony or terrace and a fan, and the quadruple room sleeps up to four guests. Every room also has a private bathroom.

Rocky resort offers free Wi-Fi in all rooms, with WiFi in the public areas and internet services for guests. The property has a restaurant and a convenience store, and there is a terrace.

Ko Samui, the larger island nearby, has the closest airport, and the crossing by boat from there is one way to arrive. Boats also run from the mainland.

The beach is about 80 m from the rooms, and Ao Thian beach is 200 m away. Freedom Beach is 800 m away, and Nangyuan Island, 6.5 km away, is reached by boat and is popular for snorkelling. Cindy's Tower and the Love Koh Tao viewpoint are among the lookouts in the area, and the Rama V Shrine, a shrine to King Chulalongkorn, is 2.2 km away.

A good day could start on one of the beaches, go up to a lookout in the hills and end with a boat trip to Nangyuan Island for snorkelling. The walk up to the lookouts takes you through the hills above the bay, and the views over the water are the main reward. Diving is a major activity on the island, and during the rainy months the sea can be rougher, which can make boat trips less comfortable.
