Bangla Road, Patong's best-known nightlife street with its bars and clubs, is 1.1 km away, and a night market with food stalls is 800 m from the hotel. Phuket International Airport is 25 km away, and the island is reached by road.

For a day out, Big Buddha, the large white statue on a hilltop, and Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, one of the island's most revered temples, are both worth the trip. Both are reached by road from Patong, and together with the night market they make the area a mix of temples, beaches and markets. Karon Beach and Kata Beach are the other sandy stretches to head for, and the streets of Patong are the place to end the day.
