River Park Resort is in the Yan Ta Khao area of Trang, a province in southern Thailand on the Andaman coast. The surroundings are villages and hamlets, and the resort is set in gardens on Worakiri Road, with a shrine as the closest landmark. Trang town, the provincial capital, is the town to explore from here.

Trang Airport is the nearest airport, 16.4 km away, while Hat Yai International Airport is 92.8 km away, and Kantang Station is 18.6 km away for train travel. The Phra Roi Kao Shrine is the closest landmark at 750 m, and Yan Ta Khao Hospital is 1.7 km away. Nearby villages such as Ban Na Yai Mom and Ban Khlong Pa Lian give a sense of the local countryside.

Trips to the coast and to islands such as Ko Muk and Ko Kradan leave by boat rather than from the resort, so the car hire and shuttle service are most useful for reaching the piers and the town. Guests who stay on site can also rest in the garden between excursions.
