Rio Monte Residence

Every room at Rio Monte Residence measures 32 m². Rooms can have air conditioning, a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, an electric kettle and a refrigerator, and free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

The rooms range from a standard room for up to five guests to twin rooms for two or three guests, and some look out over the garden while others have a city view. Twin single beds feature in several rooms, and the garden-view room offers a choice of bed set-ups.

Asiatique The Riverfront, a complex of shops, a night market and a Ferris wheel, is 1.2 km away, and Saphan Taksin BTS station, where the skytrain meets the river boats, is 2.5 km away. Saphan Taksin is also the stop for the river boats that run along the Chao Phraya. Further along the river, Wat Arun is 5.7 km away and the Grand Palace is 6.3 km away. Jim Thompson House, the former home of the American silk entrepreneur Jim Thompson and now a museum of Thai art and architecture, is also in the area.

A typical day can start at the Grand Palace and Wat Arun, cross the river by boat, and end at Asiatique for the evening, with its shops and riverside walks. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 25.9 km from the hotel, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip further out, best saved for a weekend morning.
