The rooms at Rimkhobfa Urban Resort range from 23 to 45 m², with superior rooms, a twin room with a balcony or terrace, a deluxe room with a garden view and a junior suite. Bed set-ups vary between rooms, and some rooms sleep up to four guests.

It is a different setting from central Bangkok, with more local neighbourhoods and open spaces between the attractions. Its temples and exhibitions give the area a distinctly Thai character.

The Ancient City, an open-air park of replicas of Thai monuments, is 200 m away, and the Ancient Siam theme park is 1,000 m away, so both sights can be visited in the same day. Maiami Bazaar Bang Pu, a local market, is 500 m away, and Wat Asokaram, a historic temple, is 1.8 km away. Wat Hua Lam Phu Thong, another temple, is also nearby, and the Kheha train station is 3.5 km away.

A good day could start at the Ancient City, continue at Ancient Siam and end at the local market to see everyday life in Bangpu Mai. The property offers taxi service for trips further afield, and the centre of Bangkok is a longer journey away, so a trip into the capital is best planned as a separate day out. The Biographical Exhibition of Founders is right next to the resort, so the neighbourhood can be explored on foot.
