The main airport serving the area is Hat Yai International Airport in neighbouring Songkhla province, and the resort is reached by road from there.

For a day out, the town of Satun, the provincial capital, is the main place to explore, and the islands of Tarutao National Marine Park lie offshore, reached by boat from the coast.
