Revolution Hostel Koh Tao

Every room at Revolution Hostel Koh Tao has air conditioning and its own private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. The rooms include a double room with a king bed for up to two guests and dormitory rooms with single beds, the dormitory rooms measuring 200 to 220 m².

Bed linen and towels are provided in every room. Two of the dormitory rooms have a balcony or terrace with outdoor furniture, the dormitory rooms all have blackout curtains, and the double room also has a refrigerator.

The property has a bar with a happy hour and a nightclub, and a shared lounge and TV area. There is also a game room with billiards, on-site entertainment and pub crawls.

For the sea and the island, diving and snorkelling are offered, and tours and ticket services can be arranged through the tour desk. Air conditioning is available in the public areas too.

Daily housekeeping and 24-hour security are part of the service, and lockers and luggage storage are available. Wi-Fi is free in all rooms and in the public areas. English and Thai are spoken at the property, and the shared lounge and TV area is a common space for all guests to use.

Revolution Hostel Koh Tao is in the Sairee area of Ko Tao, a small island in the Gulf of Thailand known above all for diving. Sairee Beach is the centre of the island's social life: its beach road is lined with dive schools, bars and small restaurants, and the sand is a 2-minute walk from the hostel. Beach, bars and dive shops are all reachable on foot.

Within a short distance there are several places worth seeing. The Coconut Viewpoint, 1.4 km away, gives wide views over the bay, and Ao Muang, known as Mango Bay, is a sandy bay 2.4 km away on the island's coast. Nangyuan Island, 3 km away, is a small island with a beach, reached by boat. Ko Tao has no airport of its own: Samui Airport is 66.5 km away on Koh Samui and Chumphon Airport is 85.6 km away on the mainland, and ferries link the island with those departure points, so most guests reach it by sea.

A good day starts at the Coconut Viewpoint, followed by a swim at Mango Bay in the afternoon, with a boat trip to Nangyuan Island for the rest of the day. Divers can book a course or a boat trip from one of the dive shops on the beach road, and the evening is spent at the bars near the sand.
