Residence One

All the rooms have air conditioning and a flat-screen TV, and the choice runs from queen and double rooms to triples, quadruples and one- and two-bedroom apartments. Capacity goes from two to six guests, and sizes from 28 m² to 82 m².

Some rooms have a balcony or a city view, and several apartments have a private entrance. Beds range from one queen bed to two double beds or two queen beds, depending on the room, and most bathrooms have a walk-in shower. Guests can choose rooms for two, three or four people, and apartments sleeping up to six guests.

Residence One has an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre, along with a shared lounge and TV area, a lift, air conditioning in the public areas and daily housekeeping. Laundry service is available, and the property has lockers, luggage storage and safety deposit boxes. Guests can leave luggage and valuables in these.

The property offers an airport transfer, private check-in and check-out, and a kitchen. The languages spoken are English, Mandarin Chinese and Thai.

Residence One sits on Soi Sukhumvit 7, a side street running off Sukhumvit Road in central Bangkok, in a district long known for business travellers, shopping malls and restaurants. The lanes around it hold cafés, massage shops and small restaurants, and in the evening street-food stalls fill the pavements, while the Sukhumvit line gives the area a direct link to the rest of the city.

Nana BTS Station is 400 m away, and the Sukhumvit line from there runs to Siam, where Siam Paragon is 2.2 km from the building, and to Chit Lom. Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in traditional teak houses, is 3 km away. The Chatuchak Weekend Market, a large weekend market with clothing, crafts and food stalls, is 6.2 km away, and the Grand Palace is 7 km away in the old city. Both airports are a longer trip away, so allow time for the journey.

A full day could start at Jim Thompson House and continue to the shopping malls around Siam. Wat Phra Chetuphon, better known as Wat Pho, the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and the Grand Palace are close together, so one morning can cover all three, and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is one of the sights on the river.
