Makkasan Station on the Airport Rail Link is 750 m from the property, and the line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport, which is 22.1 km away. The Phra Ram 9 MRT station is also nearby, so the metro reaches other parts of the city. From the station, the Airport Rail Link runs towards the airport and the city. Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, is a longer journey away.

A day out could start at the Jim Thompson House, the former home of an American silk entrepreneur, 3.4 km away, set among traditional Thai houses and a garden. A longer trip continues to the Grand Palace, 7.3 km away, and to Wat Arun, a temple on the riverfront close to it, so the two can be seen in the same visit.
