Red Pin Inn

The rooms at Red Pin Inn are standard and double rooms, some with a window and others with none, and several of them are non-smoking. Several rooms come with air conditioning, a private bathroom and free Wi-Fi, and some also have towels and toiletries in the bathroom. Beds are queen beds or double beds, and futons appear in some of the bed set-ups.

For shopping and rail links, the district is a better fit than the old temples.

Makkasan Train Station is 450 m away, and the Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is 700 m away, so the trains are a practical way to reach other parts of the city. Siam Paragon, a large mall with cinemas and an aquarium, is 1.2 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum of Thai silk and art, is 1.9 km away.

Wat Arun, on the far bank of the Chao Phraya, and the Grand Palace in the old city are the main temples to visit, and both are a taxi ride away. A good day could start at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, one of the largest markets in Bangkok, and end at the Neon Night Bazaar in the evening.
