The historic Ban Krua neighbourhood is close by.

The Ratchathewi BTS station is 250 m from the hotel, so the skytrain is a short walk away for trips to Siam Square and the shopping centres of the district. Jim Thompson House, the teak-house museum of the American silk pioneer, is 350 m away, and the Ban Krua Silk Factory museum is nearby. For the royal sights, the Grand Palace is 4.1 km away, and Wat Pho and Wat Arun can be reached by taxi, the latter across the river.

A good day could start at Jim Thompson House, continue to the Grand Palace and Wat Pho, and end with a ferry crossing over the river to Wat Arun. On a weekend, Chatuchak Weekend Market, 5.7 km away, is the place for clothes, crafts and street food, and the skytrain and taxis cover most of these trips.
