Rawai Villas

The rooms at Rawai Villas are built around their own swimming pools. Phuket International Airport is 33.5 km away, and the island is linked to the mainland by a bridge, so arriving by car is straightforward.

Wat Chalong, Phuket's most revered Buddhist temple, is 4.1 km away, and the Big Buddha stands on a hill 2.8 km away with wide views over the surrounding countryside. Kata Beach, 3.6 km away, is a popular stretch of sand lined with cafés, while Nai Harn Beach, 4.7 km away, is a sheltered bay that is popular for swimming. Chalong Pier, the ferry terminal in the bay, is where boats leave for the nearby islands.

A good day could start at the temple at Wat Chalong, continue to Kata or Nai Harn for a swim, and end back at the pool. Boat trips from the pier depend on the sea, so a rough day can change plans for island trips. Phuket Town makes a good outing for a half day, with its old streets and markets.
