Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), 4.6 km away, is one of the most revered temples in Phuket, and Nai Harn Beach, 4.7 km away, is one of the island's well-known beaches. Phuket is connected by road, so a car, a taxi or a hire car is the easiest way to reach the beaches and temples across the island.

A good day could begin at the Big Buddha and the temple at Chalong, then continue to the beaches at Kata and Nai Harn before returning to Rawai for a meal.
