Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.8 km away, a large market for clothes, crafts, plants and street food that operates mainly at weekends. Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum with displays of Thai silk, is 5.3 km away.

A good day could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market in the morning, then continue to the old city for the Grand Palace, which is 8.9 km from the hotel. Wat Arun, on the bank of the Chao Phraya river, is another temple worth the trip, and the Asiatique riverfront is a place to finish the evening.
