Bangkok's two airports, Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi, are the main gateways, and the hotel is a considerable drive from both.

Several temples and museums are close by. The Thai Film Archive is 900 m away, and two temples, Wat Pa Satipatthan Yannasampanno (1 km) and Wat Suwannaram (1.3 km), are within a short distance. The Buddhist park of Phutthamonthon (4.1 km) is the larger attraction, with monuments and gardens spread over a wide area, and the Don Wai Floating Market (3.9 km) is a floating market on the canals. A railway station, Sala Ya, is also nearby, and getting around is easiest by taxi or car because the attractions are spread out.

A good day starts at the Thai Film Archive and the two temples, then moves to Phutthamonthon park in the afternoon, where the monuments and gardens are spread across a wide area. Finish at the Don Wai Floating Market, where you can wander the canal and browse the stalls before heading back to the hotel.
