Rambuttri House

The rooms at Rambuttri House have air conditioning, and several of them overlook the city. They run from standard twin, double and triple rooms to deluxe rooms and a family triple room, each with its own size and bed set-up.

Several rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels. The Standard Triple measures 18 m² and sleeps three, the Standard Twin measures 13 m² and sleeps two, and the Deluxe Room sleeps up to five guests. The family triple room sleeps up to four guests, the Standard Double measures 15 m² with a double bed, and the Deluxe Twin Room sleeps up to three guests.

Rambuttri Road runs through Banglamphu, a neighbourhood in the historic old city of Bangkok, where guesthouses, small restaurants and temples sit close to the Chao Phraya river. It is a lively, informal part of town, where the day moves between temples and riverside walks and the evenings are busy with street stalls, and many of the old city's best-known sights lie along the river.

Khao San Road, the backpacker street with its bars and street-food stalls, is 100 m away. The Grand Palace is 1.3 km from the hotel, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) stands inside the same complex. Across the Chao Phraya, Wat Arun rises on the far bank, and the Phra Arthit ferry terminal is a short walk from the hotel for boats along the river. Chatuchak Weekend Market, 7 km away, is a bigger day out, with many stalls selling clothes, food and plants.

A good day starts with the temples of the old city, a walk through the Grand Palace and a visit to Wat Arun, and ends with a meal on Khao San Road. Suvarnabhumi Airport is 28.3 km from the hotel, a longer trip to plan for when you arrive or leave.
