Every room at Ralph Poshtel Sukhumvit has a city view. A good day out could start at Chatuchak Weekend Market, 6.8 km away, which is open at weekends and sells everything from clothes to plants. Jim Thompson House, the teak residence of the American silk entrepreneur, is a museum worth a visit, and the evening can be spent on the street food and bars around Soi Cowboy.
