The rooms at Raikhruewan Resort Muaklek cover family layouts, doubles, a one-bedroom villa and a basic triple room. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms, and several of them look out over the mountains or the garden.

The wider Khao Yai region is known for its forest national park, part of a forest complex recognised as a UNESCO World Heritage site, so the area offers slow days, nature and short trips out rather than a busy city programme.

The Tree Tunnel, a road shaded by tall trees, is 2.9 km away, and Wat Ched Sao Noi, a pagoda, is 3.6 km away. Chet Sao Noi Waterfall, a cascade with several levels, is 3.9 km away, and Ched Sao Noi Waterfall National Park is also close. Heo Suwat Waterfall and the Khao Yai Art Museum are further into the Khao Yai area, reached on a longer day out. Don Mueang International Airport is 108.3 km from the resort, and Hin Lap station on the train line is 7.5 km away.

A day could begin on the Tree Tunnel road, continue to the pagoda and the waterfalls nearby, and end with a rest in the resort's garden. The longer trip to Heo Suwat Waterfall and the Khao Yai Art Museum is better kept for a separate day out, with the nearby waterfalls and pagoda as the core of a relaxed stay.
