The rooms at Pullman Phuket Karon Beach Resort measure 44 to 170 m², and each one has a bathtub and an adapted bath. Some look out over the garden and others over the sea, depending on the room. Karon is a long sandy bay on the Andaman coast of Phuket, and the resort is about 190 m from the beach. The area has a lively feel, with small shops and eateries along the beach road and a wide stretch of sand to walk along. Karon is calmer than neighbouring Patong, yet the rest of the island is easy to reach by road.

Around the resort, Thavorn Palm Beach, a zoo and animal park, and the Karon Night Market are within a few hundred metres. Big Buddha, the large seated statue on Nakkerd Hills, is 2.2 km away, and Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples. Patong Beach, 5.3 km away, has the famous nightlife of Bangla Road, and Phuket International Airport is 30.3 km away. Phuket FantaSea, a theme park with a show, is further away, while Phuket Town, the island's main town, is also reachable by road.

A good day could start with a morning on Karon Beach, then a visit to Wat Chalong and Big Buddha in the hills, and end back in Karon for the evening market. Phuket Town, with its old Sino-Portuguese shophouses, makes a good half-day outing if you want a change of scene.
