PS Thana Resort

The rooms at PS Thana Resort include 90 m² villas, 60 m² and 45 m² superior rooms, a 28 m² room and a bungalow with a partial sea view. Several rooms have a garden view, and some have a balcony or terrace. Most rooms have a bathtub, and bathrooms come with a shower, toiletries and towels.

Bed set-ups vary: several rooms have a king bed, others have single beds or a double bed, and one villa sleeps up to five guests. Several rooms also have air conditioning, a hair dryer and an electric kettle, and some have satellite or cable channels and a flat-screen TV.

PS Thana Resort has an indoor and an outdoor swimming pool, a spa with a sauna, a massage service and a private beach. The garden and the terrace are on site, and tours and non-motorised water sports can be arranged.

For eating and drinking, the property has a restaurant, a bar, a coffee shop, a kitchen and BBQ facilities, with room service and food delivery as well. Luggage storage and a laundry service are also offered.

Choeng Mon is a small village on a calm bay on the coast of Koh Samui, a quieter alternative to the busier beaches of Chaweng. PS Thana Resort is on this stretch of coast, with Choeng Mon Beach 450 m away and the village reached on foot. Small shops and street-food stalls are in the village itself, and Samui Airport is on the island too, so reaching the resort does not involve a ferry from the mainland.

Wat Plai Laem, a temple with a large Guanyin statue, is 1.6 km away, and the Big Buddha temple is 2.3 km away. The Big Buddha is one of the island's best-known landmarks. Fisherman's Village in Bophut, 5.7 km away, is a village of restaurants and shops along the water. Thongson Beach is also nearby, and the inn offers car hire and a taxi service for trips further afield.

A day here could start at Wat Plai Laem, continue at the Big Buddha temple and end at Fisherman's Village for dinner. The Samui Elephant Sanctuary in Bophut is another choice for the afternoon, and Na Muang Waterfall is a longer day out on the island. The resort's own private beach and pools also make it possible to spend the day on site.
