Patong Beach, 8.1 km away, is the island's busiest resort beach with its nightlife, while Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 15.8 km away and is one of Phuket's most revered temples.

A good day could start with a swim at Surin Beach, then drive to Big Buddha, a hilltop statue 17.1 km away with views across the island. Phuket FantaSea, a cultural theme park with evening shows and dinner, makes an easy evening outing, and the Bang Tao Night Market, close to the residence, makes a simpler option.
