Sathorn is a busy business district with many offices and hotels along its main roads. Public transport is close by, so the older quarters can be explored on foot and by river, and the riverside is a short trip away.

Saphan Taksin BTS Station is 350 m away and connects to the Skytrain network, and Surasak BTS Station is a second option on the same line. The Sathon Pier ferry terminal is a short walk for river trips. Assumption Cathedral, the Catholic church on Charoen Krung Road, is 300 m away, and Bang Rak Market, a local market, is in the same neighbourhood.

A good day starts with the Grand Palace, 4.3 km from the hotel, where the Temple of the Emerald Buddha stands within the complex. In the evening, head to Asiatique - The Riverfront, a riverside night market and shopping complex 2.3 km away, which you can reach by taxi. Chatuchak Weekend Market is much further out, at 9.4 km, so it is best planned as a separate day trip from the hotel.
