Bang Thao is a beach area in the Thalang district of Phuket, where the Laguna Park villas are set among golf courses and quiet residential roads. The area is calmer than Patong, the island's busiest beach town, and the villas are a quieter base than the busiest strips along the coast.

Bang Tao Beach is 1.7 km away, a sandy beach and the nearest one to the property. Wat Choeng Thale, a Buddhist pagoda in the Choeng Thale area, is also close, while Layan National Park, 3.4 km away, is a protected area of forest and coastline. Patong Beach, 10.5 km away, offers nightlife, shopping and dining, and Big Buddha Phuket, at 19.4 km, is a large white statue on a hilltop with views over the island.

A full day could start at Bang Tao Beach, move on to the Big Buddha in the afternoon and finish with an evening in Patong. All of them are reached by road, and the Night Market (Touristic) is close to the property for an evening stroll. Bang Tao Beach and the golf courses on the Laguna side make the area easy to enjoy at a slow pace, with the sea and the grounds of the villas both close at hand.
