Most of the main sights are within a few kilometres of the hotel, and museums such as the Queen Sirikit Art Gallery and the Rattanakosin Exhibition Hall are close by.

Khaosan Road is 600 m away, and the Temple of the Emerald Buddha (Wat Phra Kaew) is 1.3 km away, within the grounds of the Grand Palace, which is 1.5 km from the hotel. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn on the opposite bank of the Chao Phraya river, is 2.2 km away. For getting around the city, the Sam Yot MRT station is 1.2 km away, giving access to the metro network.

A good first day could start at the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew, continue to Wat Phra Chetuphon, better known as Wat Pho and home to a giant reclining Buddha, and finish on Khaosan Road in the evening, when the bars and street life make a lively end to the day.
