Prachan Hostel

The rooms at Prachan Hostel sleep from one to three guests, with a queen bed in two of them and a bunk bed in a mixed dormitory room. Some rooms look over the garden, and one has a city view. The rooms have air conditioning, an electric kettle, a reading light and a socket near the bed.

The shared bathrooms are equipped with a shower, towels, toiletries and a hair dryer. Dining tables are in the rooms too, and board games or puzzles are available for guests to use, while the garden-view rooms also have blackout curtains. Daily housekeeping is provided across the hostel.

Prachan Hostel is in this town itself, so the market, the temples and the pier are all close by, and the rest of the island is reached by road or by boat from here. The town is small enough to explore on foot, and the everyday needs of a visit are met within it.

The Fresh Market is 200 m from the hostel, and Phantip Market is 250 m away. The Ko Pha-ngan Pier, 700 m away, is where boats run to the mainland and to other islands. Ao Bang Charu beach, 600 m away, has a kiteboarding centre nearby, and the HTMS Phangan 713 Warship Museum is also 600 m away.

A day could start at Ao Bang Charu beach and continue to the Wat Rat Charoen pagoda or the Chinese Temple, both a short walk from the hostel. For a more active afternoon, the Muay Thai and fitness gyms nearby are close by, The hospital and the dental clinic are close by, so the town's services are near at hand.
