PR Place Hotel

Every room at PR Place Hotel has air conditioning and a bathtub. The rooms range from the Deluxe King Room and the Deluxe Twin Room, each 32 m², to the Two-Bedroom Suite, which measures 55 m² and has two bedrooms.

All the rooms have a private bathroom with a shower and toiletries, a flat-screen TV with satellite and cable channels, an electric kettle, a telephone and a socket near the bed. The Deluxe King Room has a queen bed, the Deluxe Twin Room has two single beds, and the Two-Bedroom Suite offers a choice of bed set-ups for up to three guests.

PR Place Hotel is on Ratchaprarop Road in Pratunam, a busy shopping district of Ratchathewi in central Bangkok, known for its clothing markets and tailors. The streets around the hotel are lively from morning, and the area has a very urban feel, with the shopping centres of the Siam area close by. Pratunam Market is a short walk away, and its clothing stalls are a big part of the local shopping scene.

The Airport Rail Link Ratchaprarop Station is just 50 m away, and its line runs to Suvarnabhumi Airport and into the city, while Makkasan Train Station is about 600 m off. Siam Paragon, a large shopping mall, is 1.1 km away, and the Jim Thompson House, a teak house museum set in a garden, is 1.6 km away. Baiyoke II Tower, a tall tower with an observation deck, is a short walk from the hotel.

A good day could start at the Jim Thompson House, continue with lunch and shopping at Siam Paragon, and end at the observation deck of Baiyoke II Tower. For temples, the Grand Palace and Wat Arun are on the other side of the river, a longer trip that is worth planning for, and both are well worth a morning.
