PR Patong Residence is in Patong, the beach resort town on the west coast of Phuket that is known for its lively evenings, shopping and nightlife. Patong Beach is 450 m from the hotel, and the streets around it are busy with shops, restaurants and street-food stalls.

Jungceylon Shopping Center is 300 m away, a large mall with shops and restaurants, and Bangla Road, 400 m away, is the street where the nightlife is concentrated. For a change of scene, the Chaithararam Temple, also called Wat Chalong, is 6.4 km away, one of the best-known Buddhist temples on Phuket. Phuket International Airport is 24.6 km from the hotel, is the nearest airport and is on the island itself, so no ferry is needed.

A good day could start with a swim at Patong Beach, continue with a visit to Wat Chalong, and end on Bangla Road after dark. Karon Beach and Kata Beach lie to the south of Patong, each with its own stretch of sand, and taxis are an easy way to move around the island. Freedom Beach is also in the Patong area, so the beaches of the district can be combined in one day, each with its own character and its own stretch of sand.
