Rooms at Poste 43 Residence vary in size and bed set-up, from a 13 m² room with a double bed to the 37 m² Grand Deluxe with a king bed. Most rooms sleep two guests, several have a city view, and the Poste Residence Room accommodates up to four.

Some rooms have bathrobes and a private bathroom with a shower, and the Deluxe Suite has a sofa bed alongside its queen bed. Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.

Street-food stalls line parts of the road, and the pace is slower than in the big shopping areas of the city, with the river giving the district much of its character.

Riverboats from the piers near the hotel, including Si Phraya 350 m away, cross to the Thonburi side. Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is 3.4 km away on the opposite bank, and The Grand Palace complex, in the old city of Rattanakosin, is 3.6 km away. Charoen Nakhon BTS Station, 800 m from the hotel, is the nearest Skytrain stop.

A day could start with The Grand Palace and Wat Arun, then cross back by boat and finish on the east bank with the Bangkokian Museum and the old streets of Charoen Krung. The Jim Thompson House, a museum of Thai silk set in traditional teak houses, is also worth a visit, and the Bangkok Folk Museum is close to the hotel. For a larger outing, Chatuchak Weekend Market is 8.7 km away, with thousands of stalls selling food, clothes and crafts.
