Poonsuk Place Hotel

The Tha Chang pier, 600 m from the hotel, is the stop for the boats that run along the Chao Phraya, and Khaosan Road, 1.8 km away, is the street of guesthouses, bars and street food. Both airports are further out, at 22.4 km for Don Mueang and 29.5 km for Suvarnabhumi.

A good day can begin at Wat Arun, continue at Wat Phra Chetuphon and end on Khaosan Road, with a river boat from the Tha Chang pier for the crossing. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is worth the trip, with its large selection of shopping and food stalls, and the riverside walk back from the temples makes a relaxed end to the day.
