The Chatuchak Weekend Market is 3.2 km away, one of the largest weekend markets in the city, selling clothes, food and crafts. Somdet Ya 84 Park is a short distance away for a walk, and the Jim Thompson House, a museum set in a traditional Thai house complex, is a little further on.

A day could begin at the Chatuchak Weekend Market, which is open at weekends, and finish in the old city, where the Grand Palace is 11.3 km away. Visitors who want to see the older temples and palaces will find the old city the main reason to make the longer journey. Don Mueang International Airport is 10.9 km from the hotel, so it is the closer of the two main airports.
