The room is 20 m² and sleeps up to three guests. It has a private bathroom with a shower, toiletries and towels, along with air conditioning, a fan and an air purifier.

An electric kettle, an adapter and cleaning products are also provided, so the room works well as a self-contained base on the island. Its own bathroom and kettle mean guests can make drinks without leaving the room, and bicycles are offered to guests at the property for getting around.

Poohry Seaview is in the Old Town of Koh Lanta, the long island in the Andaman Sea that forms part of Krabi province. This is the island's older quarter, where the pier, the temple and the community museum sit close together, The area is for travellers who want to see everyday island life rather than a beach resort. Koh Lanta has forest, hills and a long coastline, and the Old Town feels very different from the beach areas.

The Koh Lanta Old Town Pier is 1.7 km away, and the Lanta Old Town, the Koh Lanta Community Museum and Wat Koh Lanta are all close together. Further afield, Mu Ko Lanta National Park is 5.4 km away and protects forest and coastline, while Khao Mai Kaew Cave is also worth a visit. Long Beach is 11.3 km away for a day on the sand.

Getting here involves a ferry crossing from the mainland, because Krabi International Airport is 65.7 km away on the mainland. A good day starts in the Old Town with the community museum and the temple, then continues to the cave and the national park, and finishes on the sand at Long Beach, the island's sandy shore.
