Ko Pha-ngan Pier, 2.9 km away at Thong Sala, is the island's ferry terminal, and Ko Samui's airport is 18.8 km away on Koh Samui, so reaching Ko Pha-ngan from there means taking a ferry. A good day from here starts with a swim at Haad Baan Tai, then a walk to Wat Pra Yai and an evening at the Night Market.
