Pipikuku Hotel & Restaurant is on Sai Namyen Road, with Patong Beach about 600 m away. In the evening the beach road and its side streets are busy, and the town keeps going well after sunset.

Patong's night market is 450 m from the hotel, and the Banzaan Fresh Market is a short distance off. Kalim Beach, a quieter stretch of sand, is 1.7 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of the island's best-known temples, is 6.8 km away. Phuket International Airport is 23.8 km away, and a taxi service is offered for trips further afield.

A day could start on Patong Beach, continue to Kalim Beach for a quieter swim, and end at the night market. For a different kind of day out, Big Buddha Phuket is a large white statue on a hilltop, reached by road from Patong, and the hotel's taxi service is an option for the trip. During the rainy season the sea on this coast can be rougher, and boat trips from the beaches may be affected.
