In the immediate area, Haad Klong Jaak village is 250 m from the property, and Sor Ngam beach, 700 m away, is a viewpoint spot on the coast. Low Tide Island, a sandbank that appears when the tide drops, lies 2.8 km away, and Tha Khao Pier, 3.1 km away, is one of the ferry piers in the area. Koh Yao Yai, the neighbouring island, is also reached by boat, and much of the day is spent on the coast, the bay and the islands nearby.

A day could start with a boat trip to Hong Island, 7 km away, and continue to Low Tide Island when the tide allows it. Laem Had Beach is another stretch of sand on the island, further along the coast, and it makes a good stop for an unhurried afternoon. Boat trips can be cancelled when the sea is rough, which happens more often in the rainy season.
