Ton Sai Pier, the ferry terminal, is 1.1 km away, close to the village's shops and restaurants. Krabi International Airport is 45.3 km away on the mainland, so arrivals travel by road and then by boat.

Boat trips to the islands around Ko Phi Phi are a common day out, and Ao Maya on Phi Phi Leh, with its limestone cliffs and clear water, is one of the best-known stops. Longtail boats for these trips leave from the pier. In the evening, the village of Ton Sai has bars and restaurants along its streets.
