Phunaya Resort

Phunaya Resort offers air-conditioned standard rooms, cottages and family bungalows. Khao Kho is a hill district in Phetchabun province, in the highlands of central Thailand, a long way from the coast. The landscape is hills, forest and farmland, with cooler air than the lowland provinces. The nearest village, Ban Pa Ya Di, is 950 m from Phunaya Resort.

The Sridit waterfall is 2 km from the resort. The Itthi Artillery Support Base Museum, 4.3 km away, is a museum on the military history of the area, and a viewpoint with parking lies about 4 km out. The Khao Kho Wind Farm, with its turbines on the high ground, is 7 km away. Because these sights are spread over several kilometres, a car is the easiest way to reach them.

A full day could take in the Sridit waterfall, the museum and the viewpoint, then the wind farm further out. The waterfall is the closest of these sights to the resort, so it makes a good first stop, and the garden on the grounds is a place to rest afterwards.
