Phuket Villas

Both villas have two bedrooms and two bathrooms, a balcony or terrace and access to a garden or backyard, and each has a kitchen with basics, a microwave and an oven. Cribs or baby cots and high chairs are available, and both are wheelchair accessible.

Rooms can also have air conditioning, a washing machine, a hair dryer and a private entrance.

The grounds have an outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a bar, and there are BBQ facilities for cooking outdoors. The kitchen facilities include a stove, a refrigerator, an oven and a microwave, along with kitchen basics such as cookware, oils and condiments.

Guests can use free parking and free Wi-Fi, and an airport transfer and a concierge are offered. Luggage can be stored at the property, and facilities for disabled guests and wheelchair access are provided.

Families travelling with young children can ask for a crib or baby cot and a high chair, subject to availability. Rooms can also have a washing machine, a hair dryer and air conditioning.

Rawai is a fishing village at the southern end of Phuket, a quieter corner of the island than its big beach resorts, with a seafront of seafood restaurants and fishing boats moored along the bay. Life runs at a slower pace than in the busier beach areas, and the streets near the water are lined with small shops. Staying here means a village atmosphere close to the sea, with the island's main sights a short trip away.

Chalong Beach is the nearest beach, 1.4 km away, on the bay of the same name. The Big Buddha, a large white statue on a hilltop, stands 2.5 km away, and the Chaithararam Temple, known as Wat Chalong, is 3.9 km away and is one of the island's best-known temples. A taxi or a rented car covers these sights, and Chalong Pier, where boats leave for the islands, is in the same area.

A good day could start with a swim at Chalong Beach, continue to the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, and end with seafood on the Rawai waterfront. Phuket International Airport is 33.3 km away, and the drive from there is the usual way to reach the villas. The roads linking the beaches and temples run through the island's main road network.
