A good day could start in the old town, continue to Wat Chalong, Phuket's most revered Buddhist temple, and end with the Big Buddha on Nakkerd Hills, which is 10.7 km from the hotel. On a Sunday, the night market in Phuket Town is a natural finish to the day, and the Phuket Trickeye Museum, known for its 3D paintings, makes a good stop between the old town and the market. Patong Beach, by contrast, is on the west coast and is the place to go for beach days and nightlife.
