Phuket Emerald Beach Resort

Several rooms at Phuket Emerald Beach Resort look out over the pool, and some offer a choice of bed set-ups, with single, king or queen beds. Rooms can have air conditioning, an in-room safe box, a desk, a sofa, a hair dryer, an electric kettle and a balcony or terrace, depending on the room.

Karon Beach lies 50 m from the resort, and the beach road has street-food stalls and massage shops, with the Karon Night Market close by. It fits a stay that mixes days on the sand with evenings out.

Big Buddha Phuket, the large white Buddha on a hilltop, is 2.8 km from the resort and commands views over the surrounding hills. Chaithararam Temple, better known as Wat Chalong, is one of the island's most revered Buddhist temples and lies 4.6 km away. Phuket FantaSea, a large theme park with an evening cultural show, lies 12.5 km away. Kata Beach is the next bay along the coast, and Bangla Road, the nightlife street in Patong, is a taxi ride away. Getting around the island usually means a taxi, a scooter or a hired car, and Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge.

Phuket International Airport is 29.7 km from the resort, and an airport transfer is offered from Phuket Emerald Beach Resort. A good day is to visit Big Buddha and Wat Chalong in the morning, then spend the afternoon on Kata Beach before returning to Karon Beach in the evening. The resort's garden and terrace offer a quieter place to end the day.
