Phu Samut

Each villa at Phu Samut has air conditioning, a king bed and room for up to two guests. Guests can choose between a Villa with Sea View and a One-Bedroom Villa, the latter with a private entrance, a balcony or terrace and a seating area.

The One-Bedroom Villa measures 30 m² and has a private bathroom, a flat-screen TV and a desk. The Villa with Sea View also has a private bathroom, and free Wi-Fi covers all rooms.

Phu Samut sits on Koh Yao Noi, a quiet island in Phang Nga Bay, where the landscape is a mix of rubber and coconut plantations, small fishing villages and a rugged coastline. The limestone islands that make the bay famous are close by, and boats are part of everyday life on the island. The villa is set on an island where a quiet pace and the sea are the main draw.

The island is reached by boat, so the last stage of the journey is by sea, and Tha Ao Po Pier, a ferry terminal, is 2.9 km from the villa. Haad Sai Kaew beach is 2.6 km away, and Holy Spring Water, an attraction, is 1.3 km away. The local coconut farm, 3.8 km away, gives a glimpse of the agriculture that shapes much of the landscape.

A good day could begin with a swim at Haad Sai Kaew beach, continue to Holy Spring Water and the coconut farm, and end with a boat trip around the bay. James Bond Island, 17.4 km away across the water, is one of the best-known stops on those trips, with its limestone outcrop rising from the sea. Boat tours to the bay are the usual way to reach it, so plan the day around the sea.
