Rantee Beach is 650 m away, and the village of Ton Sai, with its bay, pier and longtail boats, is 1.9 km from the resort. The Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint is 1.5 km away, a climb with wide views over the island, while Monkey Beach, 2.7 km away, is reached by boat.

A good day might start at the Koh Phi Phi Viewpoint, then continue down to Ton Sai Bay, where boat trips to the nearby bays and snorkelling spots can be arranged. Ton Sai Bay is also where ferries from the mainland arrive, so it is a useful point of reference for anyone travelling in from Krabi. Krabi International Airport is 45.4 km away on the mainland, so the boat is part of the journey.
