Peranakan House

The rooms at Peranakan House range from 25 m² deluxe rooms to a 60 m² penthouse and family suite, and each has a private bathroom with a shower, a hair dryer and towels. Two suites have a balcony or terrace, several rooms have a bathtub, two rooms have a city view, and one suite has a pool view.

The Deluxe Triple Rooms sleep up to four guests, and the family and executive suites sleep up to three, each with a king bed and a futon. Several rooms sleep two, including the 35 m² Super Deluxe King, which has a king bed and air conditioning.

Peranakan House has an outdoor swimming pool, an indoor swimming pool and a children's swimming pool, along with a fitness centre and a game room. The hotel also has a kids club, a playground, a garden and a terrace.

Guests can eat at the restaurant, the coffee shop or the bar, and room service is available around the clock. Free parking is available on site, and a convenience store is also available.

Peranakan House stands on West Chaofa Road in Phuket Town, the island's provincial capital, where old streets are lined with Sino-Portuguese shophouses and daily life is more visible than on the beaches. The area appeals to travellers who want to see Phuket beyond the resorts. Chao Fah Variety Market and Naka Market are close by, and the weekend night market is also nearby, with small shops and food stalls around the markets. Everyday life in the streets here runs at a slower pace than in the beach resorts further south.

Wat Khao Rang, a hilltop temple above the town, is 1.9 km away, and Chaloem Phrakiat Park, a public park in Phuket Town, is close by. The Peranakan Museum, which covers the culture of the Peranakan community, is also nearby. Wat Chalong, one of the island's best-known temples, is 5.4 km from the hotel, and Phuket International Airport is 25.9 km away.

A good day could begin with a walk through the old town, continue to the Big Buddha Phuket, 8.8 km away on the hills, and end at Patong Beach, 7.8 km from the hotel, which is known for its restaurants and nightlife. For trips further afield, tours can be arranged.
