Penyos Suite

The rooms at Penyos Suite measure between 22 and 35 m², and each one has a private bathroom with toiletries and towels. Beds are queen beds or pairs of single beds, and the two family suites, both 35 m², combine a queen bed with a single bed for up to three guests.

Every room has a hair dryer, and each bathroom has either a walk-in shower or a separate shower and bathtub. Some rooms have a city view and others a garden view, and the family suites sleep up to three guests while the remaining rooms sleep two, and the bathrooms are all private.

Penyos Suite has an outdoor swimming pool and an indoor swimming pool, plus a children's swimming pool, a fitness centre, and a spa with a sauna and massage treatments. A poolside bar, a restaurant, a coffee shop and room service cover food and drink, and a shared kitchen, grocery delivery and food delivery are also available.

The hotel has a 24-hour front desk, luggage storage, laundry service and a taxi service, and tours can be arranged. Free WiFi is available in all rooms, parking on site is free, and there is an elevator, a garden and a terrace. Families can use the children's swimming pool, and kids meals are offered.

Penyos Suite is in South Thonburi, on the Thonburi side of the Chao Phraya River in western Bangkok, in the Bangkhae area just off Phetkasem Road. Phetkasem Road is a long arterial road that runs south-west out of the city, and the streets around it are a mix of local shops, markets and temples rather than the sightseeing core. That core, with the Grand Palace and the older temples, lies on the eastern bank, so the area feels more like everyday Bangkok than the tourist centre.

Wat Rat Bamrung, a pagoda temple, is 500 m away, and Lak Song MRT station is 3.3 km away for trips further into the city. Big C Extra Phetkasem 2 supermarket is 1.4 km away and Paradise Water Park is 1.5 km away, so everyday errands and a family outing both need little planning. The hotel's own pools and spa mean some guests may not need to go far.

For a fuller day out, Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, sits on the Thonburi bank of the river, the same side as the hotel, so it can be visited without crossing to the other side. The Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew are on the eastern bank, and the Chatuchak Weekend Market and the Asiatique riverfront are reached by longer trips across the city, so plan those around traffic. Both Don Mueang and Suvarnabhumi airports are a long drive away.
