The Grand Palace, the royal complex of the old city, is 13.1 km away, with the riverside temple Wat Arun close to it. The property has a taxi service, which is a practical option for the longer trips across the river, and the old city is reached by a boat or a taxi ride in either direction.

A day in the old city could take in the Grand Palace, Wat Pho and a boat across the river to Wat Arun. For a weekend outing, the Chatuchak Weekend Market is a longer trip out of the centre, and Suvarnabhumi Airport is 40.1 km away.
