The night market is a short walk away, so an evening out is easy to plan. The Big Buddha statue on a hilltop is 3.1 km away, and Chaithararam Temple (Wat Chalong), one of Phuket's best-known temples, is 4.6 km.

Phuket is linked to the mainland by a bridge, and Phuket International Airport (HKT) is 29.1 km from the hotel, so the last stretch from the airport is by road. A day out could combine the Big Buddha and Wat Chalong, followed by an evening at Patong Beach, where Bangla Road is the best-known nightlife street. Taxis and songthaews are the usual way to get around. Karon Beach is the easiest starting point for a day of swimming and walks.
