A good day could begin with a swim at Patong Beach, then a drive to Wat Chalong and the Big Buddha, which lie outside the town and are easier to reach by car or taxi than on foot. Phuket International Airport is 24.4 km away, and most arrivals reach Patong by road from there, so a taxi or a rented car is the usual way to continue your trip. Back in Patong, Bangla Road and the night market are within walking distance of the apartments.
