Bangla Road is the street of bars and nightlife, while Banzaan Fresh Market, a night market with food stalls, is 600 m away. Wat Chalong, the best-known temple on Phuket, is 6.5 km away.

A typical day can combine Patong Beach in the morning with a visit to Wat Chalong, and the evening can be spent at the night market or on Bangla Road. Phuket International Airport is 24.7 km away, reached by road across the island. Kata Beach and Karon Beach, the island's other well-known beaches, are a short drive away, so a day at another beach is easy to plan from here.
